Hi Roiji, the verification can vary based on the quality requirement of individual labs. Would you please provide what kind of lab it is? ISO 17025, GLP, or research lab, etc.?

In my previous lab we used to verify glassware volume using gravimetric method (analytical balance).

For pipettes, we dispense type 0 water equilibriated at 25.0 C into a tared container and record the weight

For vol flasks, we take tared weight after thorough air-drying and measure the filled weight with 25C water.

For burettes, we dispense specific volumes of water in a tared container.

would love to hear how other laboratories did their verification

    Hi Ryan!

Appreciate your reply, can you share how your lab process the data and conclude that the glassware is within the tolerance specified to it ?  Thank you!
