IDQC-HCMC is one of the leading testing agencies directly under Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, with its functions of pre/post market surveillance of drugs, cosmetics, foods, and therapeutic goods. The Institute was also assigned by the Ministry of Health to direct the network of provincial testing centers from Da Nang to Ca Mau.

IDQC-HCMC envisions to become the best laboratory in the region for quality control of drugs, food, cosmetics and other medical products that affect public health. Its mission is to provide customers with authentic analytical certificates within an appropriate timeframe and with quality assurance. IDQC-HCMC bears the responsibility of a health authority with a task to improve public health. Its testing service and calibration activities comply to GLP and ISO17025 standards.
